1. Is it
safe to use my credit card?
Completely. We use the latest, most
effective tools to ensure the security of your transactions.
Our site incorporates the industry's highest security standards,
including SSL. We also offer you the possibility of ordering
your subscriptions and arranging your payment by telephone;
simply dial (514) 982-0180 in the Montreal area or 1 800 265-0180
elsewhere between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. from Monday to Friday.

2. How are sales taxes applied?
Which sales taxes are applied depends
on delivery address of your subscription. If the address is
in Quebec, GST of 5% and QST of 7.5% are automatically added.
If you live in another Canadian province or territory, you
pay only GST of 5%.

3. Which payment methods can I use?
You can pay by credit card over the
Internet, by credit card over the telephone or by credit card,
cheque or money order via surface mail. Simply select the
option you prefer in the Payment Method section of your shopping
cart, then follow the on-line instructions.

4. What is your policy regarding the protection of customer
information?
We do not sell, trade or lease out
customers' personal information. In any case, Quebec law specifically
forbids us from doing so without your consent. We give the
publishers concerned only the information necessary to deliver
your publications.

5. What should I do if I have problems with my subscription?
The vast majority of our customers
experience no delivery or other problems with their subscriptions.
In the rare event that you have a problem, you can contact
our customer service centre from Monday to Friday between
9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) at 514 982-0180 (Montreal
area) or toll free at 1 800 265-0180 from anywhere in Canada.

6. How long will it be before I receive my first issue?
As soon as humanly possible. At Campus
Discount, we understand that you are anxious to begin receiving
your publications. The lead times to begin delivery are usually
those imposed by the publishers: up to two weeks for newspapers,
eight weeks for Quebec and Canadian magazines and 12 weeks
for foreign publications. Those are the maximum lead times;
the actual lead times are often shorter.

7. How can you offer such low rates?
We have been
negotiating with the publishers of over 205 publications
since 1991 to obtain the lowest possible rates for the students
and association members we serve. Publishers value student
readers and are usually prepared to offer substantial discounts
to attract them. We have also succeeded in extending these
discounts to the members of the associations we serve. Our
rates are guaranteed to be the lowest available for your
subscriptions; we encourage you to read our guarantee, which
you can display by clicking the Our
Guarantee button at the top
of this page.

8. Can I get a refund if I don't like the publication or if
I cancel my subscription?
Yes, and
you can do so regardless of why you decide to cancel your
subscription. You will receive a refund for the unused portion
of your subscription within 30 days of our receiving your
written cancellation request by surface mail.

9. Can I suspend delivery of my subscription while I'm away
or for another reason?
Yes, and with no extra charge or penalty. Simply call the publisher
of your publication; you will find their customer service
number in the publication concerned. Alternatively, call
us; we will be pleased to give the number to you. Your
subscription will be extended by a period equal to the
suspension period. For example, if you suspend your subscription
for two months, it will automatically be extended two
months.

10. How will I receive my magazine or newspaper?
The same way you would receive it
if you subscribed directly from the publisher. All magazines
are sent by surface mail at the same time as those sent to
full-price subscribers. Newspapers are delivered by news carriers
at the same time as the copies delivered to full-price subscribers.
top
11. Can I order subscriptions as gifts for friends and family
members?
For magazines, no problem; you can
give gift subscriptions to your friends and family at the
same rates we offer you as an association member or student.
For newspapers, our rates apply only to subscriptions delivered
to you at your residence.
top
12. Can I
subscribe for a period longer than one year?
As far as magazines are concerned,
it's an excellent idea! You save even more by buying two one-year
subscriptions to a magazine, you don't have to worry about
renewing for two years and you will probably be entitled to
an additional discount on your total Campus Discount bill
(see Save up to $10 more!). However, you may not buy more than
three one-year subscriptions to the same magazine. A very
few magazines do not accept subscriptions longer than one
year; if you choose one of these magazines, we will notify
you shortly after your subscription takes effect. For their
part, subscriptions to daily newspaper cannot exceed the terms
offered.

12. Can I have my subscriptions delivered in Europe or the
United States?
Unfortunately, no. Our rates are
valid only for subscriptions delivered in Canadian provinces
and territories. For newspapers, the advertised rates apply
to the areas covered by news carriers (paperboys). Additional
charges may apply to newspapers delivered by motorized carrier;
if that is the case for your subscription, one of our representatives
will contact you to inform you of the rates in effect in your
area.
